Cambridge, United Kingdom – 26 August 2022 - Congenica, a digital health company that enables precision medicine through its world-leading diagnostic decision support platform for genomic data, is giving its employees a boost this month to help with the increased cost of living.

The one-off payment, which forms part of a new package of employee benefits, has been announced to help counteract the increasing costs of fuel and groceries and continuing rise in energy bills. The payment comes as the new energy price cap is announced, which sees household energy bills rise by 80% from October.

Robert Denison, CEO of Congenica, said: “The increase in cost of living is clearly on everyone’s mind, and we know that many of our people are concerned by the escalating prices. This one-off bonus in August will help to alleviate some of these immediate worries, with further measures being introduced over the coming months. In the meantime, we will continue listening to and working with everyone in our team to help them through these tough times.”
